Peyton's New Bike

Papaw Mike and Mimi bought Peyton a new bike for Christmas and she loves it! It has a special basket to carry her baby doll. Of course, she picks the biggest baby doll she owns to ride in the tiny basket- I had a hard time getting the baby's legs unstuck. Oh, Have you ever seen so much Pink? Everything must be pink!
She also wanted to take pictures on her scooter. Notice, it's pink too. Also, notice the Winn-Dixie stickers. I find them all over my house. She tells me that the stickers are her decorations. The last picture is my favorite. She makes me smile so big.

Halloween 2012

Our cute little girls loved getting dressed up for Halloween. Peyton had a very hard time deciding on her costume this year- it was Princess Peyton or Dr. Peyton McStuffins. That morning she decided on Dr. Peyton Allen. The scrubs she's wearing came from Children's Hospital. A guy handed them to her during one of Avery's visits. Avery's little costume is one my mom bought. I'm not sure if its a leopard cat or cheetah. Who knows? She was super cute and warm.

Avery 1st birthday! Little party at home.

We gave Avery a little party at our house the night of her birthday. Please don't pay much attention to the cupcakes. I took the girls with me to go pick them up and I asked Peyton to hold them because I had both Avery and the diaper bag in my arms and she dropped them. I really don't know what I was thinking asking her, but they turned out just fine. Avery didnt' know the difference. haha!

 Sweet girl with her presents!

 Her new Minnie Mouse Car!

The cupcake was a success! She loved it! Most of it ended up in her hair and on the floor.

Today, I took Avery for her 1 year checkup with Dr. Farmer. She did great considering she was really sleepy. She got 4 shots and a toe prick. yuck! She didnt' cry during the toe prick, but she screamed during the shots. The sweet nurse let me hold her in my arms for the last two shots. Dr.Farmer said she looked great. This was the first time I had talked with him since her 6 month visit. I had met with Dr. Brown for her 9 month. The 9 month visit is when we started getting concerned about her feet and noticed some delay in her developement. Dr. Farmer said we should really focus on seeing the neuro specialist and try to get her as much thearpy as possible. He really didn't think that once a month with early intervention was enough for her right now. We do have an appointment scheduled with a neuro specialist in July along with Dr. Khorey from Children's. We are hoping for anwsers and a good report.

Avery's stats:
Weight: 22 lbs 5 oz
Length: 31 1/4
Head: 18 1/2

Avery is wearing a size 5 shoe! Goodness. :) She wearing a size 3 diaper. Wearing size 12-18 month clothes. She growing like a weed! She was 98 percentile on weight and 88 percentile on height! We turned her front facing in her carseat! She was concerned at first, but then she loved it!

Peyton Stats at age one:
Weight: 21 lbs 10oz
height: 30.5 in
head: 18 in

Happy Birthday our sweet Girl! Love you bunches.
