Easter Fun 2009!

What a wonderful Easter we had! I was able to take Peyton to the mall on Saturday night to see the Easter Bunny himself. She wasn't very sure of him at first, but she eventually came around. Not a tear, but I am sure the Easter bunny was wondering what little Peyton thought of him. She just stared at him the whole time and rubbed his hands. She didn't move a muscle. When it was time to leave she waved at him and watched him as we walked away. It was precious! I will never forget the look in her blue eyes.
Later Saturday night, Chris and I drove to Florence. We arrived around 1:30 and was greeted by Mimi Dianne. Dianne and Peyton played for about an hour and Peyton was off to bed. She slept in the room with her Uncle Robbie and Aunt Stephanie. They woke up with Peyton peeking over the crib bumper. How cute!
Easter continued with the Easter bunny leaving Peyton a basket and a bunch of people running around trying to get ready for church. Peyton was a mess during the service. She moved from person to person and wanted to play with the lady's hair in front of us. I was able to stop that before it was a mess.
We had a wonderful Easter with the Allen's. God is so wonderful!
