Peyton pointing to her uh-oh
When we got to the doctors office, Peyton was running around and playing. Everyone in the waiting room thought she was so cute. After sitting in the waiting room for what felt like forever, they finally took us back to the room. The nurse came in to remove the cast, so they could take a few x-rays. She had to use a machine with a small saw on the end to remove the cast. So, I held Peyton in my lap. When Peyton heard the saw she started crying. I was having to hold her leg and try to calm her down at the same time. Mom was also helping me. We hated to hear her cry. After the cast was off, the nurse had to give us time to calm Peyton down before the x-rays. Peyton was not happy at all! My poor baby couldn't understand why she was having to go through this. When the x-rays were done, they sent us back to the room.
I was worried that Peyton would have to wear another cast if her injury wasn't healed. I couldn't stand the fact of my baby having to wear that stupid boot one more day. The doctor showed us the x-rays and her little tibia was healing just as planned. After 4.5 weeks she was able to leave the doctor office without a boot.
So, finally, the end to the red boot! I'm glad its GONE!!!!
