4- months!

Avery smiling at the doctors office! Can't believe she was smiling considering we had to wait over an hour to see Dr. Farmer. Mommy wasn't smiling!

Her appointment went great! She was smiling and laughing at the doctor and nurse. She had to take a shot by mouth and two in each leg. She wasn't happy after the shots. The one by mouth she couldn't get down for all the smiling and laughing. She does have to go next week to have an ultrasound done on her hips. Dr. Farmer heard some popping that he was concerned about and wanted us to get that checked out soon.

Her stats:

Weight: 16 lbs 6 oz

Length: 26 1/4 in

Head: 16 1/2

She's 98 percentile on Length and 90 percentile on weight. Dr. Farmer said, " We might consider a diet if she wasn't so tall." haha! Chunky baby! He said I was doing everything right! Avery is truly the best baby. Always happy and smiling. Such a joy!

Here's some things she's doing lately:
-reaches and grasping objects
-laughs, smiles and coos when we talk to her.
-sits with support for short periods
-sleeps from 8:00- 6:30
-eats every 2-3hours 6oz of milk. We can start her on rice cereal now.
-started sucking her thumb.
-found her feet
-watches everything Peyton does
-still sleeps in the bassinet next to our bed
-loves her momma
-laughs at daddy, but who doesn't (haha). Especially when he raps.
-can sit in bumbo chair for a short period, she's not a real fan.

Weight: 15 lbs 4oz

length: 26.5 in long

head: 17 in
